Palm Shores

Palm Shores, nicknamed “the little town that cares”, is a small town located in central Brevard County, along the Indian River and US Highway 1 and sitting in between Melbourne city limits and the planned community of Suntree.  Only .57 square miles in area, this small town has seen significant growth in new construction both on the riverfront and west of US 1.  Palm Shores is minutes from Patrick Air Force Base and the Atlantic Ocean beaches of Satellite Beach. Amenities such as shopping and dining are conveniently nearby.

The town purchased two acres along the Indian River Lagoon to construct Shore Side Park.  The park has a fishing dock, pavilion, picnic tables and a playground.  In response to the significant growth, a new town hall was established in 2000.

Palm Shores offers a few nice dining options with several of the town’s restaurants along US 1 and overlooking the Indian River.  Some commercial businesses, such as BRPH headquarters and several marine/boat dealerships are also found here.
