Brevard County has seen a particularly active housing market over the last few years, according to the Florida Today. From the start of 2018, property values in Brevard have gone up by 9% for an estimated total value of $37.66 billion. What's more, the number of new construction projects countywide has increased by a massive 53%, including at least 30 new neighborhood communities.
With those numbers in mind, Brevard County's housing market does show increased movement during the spring and summer months. Homeowners buying and selling homes in Viera have historically had the most luck between March and August.
The best time to sell: June
For at least the last three years, June has had the highest volume of closed property sales in Brevard County, according to the Space Coast Daily. You might be surprised to learn this - after all, Brevard County has a huge influx of snowbirds during the winter months. While we do see an increase in sales during December, the winter is when rental properties are hot commodities in the area.
