For many military families, a permanent change of station (PCS), or relocation, is a frequent occurrence. In fact, according to the USO, military families move an average of once every two to three years. A Personal Military Connection
The founder of Ellingson Properties, Greg Ellingson, attended the Air Force Academy after graduating high school. After pursuing his education, he launched a career in the Air Force;he began in LA on assignment to develop satellites and future space systems. After 5 years, he moved to the Space Coast to manage launch operations of government communication satellites. Here, he met his wife, Jen -- a fellow Air Force Officer -- and established his family in Brevard County.
After investing in Brevard County properties, he found a passion for the area as well as for the real estate industry. His years of experience working with cutting-edge technology helped him develop a vision for a tech-forward real estate company that meets customers where they are and keeps up with market demands.
Today, Greg and the Ellingson Properties team bring personal experience to the military relocation process. Offering several resources, keen insight, and dedication, we help our clients thrive on the Space Coast.
Alicia’s relocation journey
Alicia and her family chose to work with Ellingson Properties thanks to their reputation within Brevard County’s military community. Alicia served in the air force for 11 years; after spending nearly two years stationed in South Dakota, she moved to Patrick Air Force Base in 2012. Her husband, Reynard, is currently Active Duty Air Force at Patrick AFB and is approaching his 20th year of service.
When it came time for Alicia and Reynard to grow their family, they knew they needed to find the perfect home to suit their unique needs. They worked with Kellie, an Ellingson Properties team member, to find the right property. “I met Kellie Wilkins-Hay through a mutual friend who Kellie assisted with a rental property as well as a purchase and property management,” said Alicia. Kellie’s prior work with military families put Alicia and Reynard at ease and guided their decision to work with Ellingson Properties.
Since finding their new home, Alicia says that their lives have changed tremendously. “We are enjoying our new home SO much. This is the first home we have purchased and it is exactly what we were looking for,” she said. They are currently delighting in watching their son grow up and excited to enjoy everything that the Space Coast has to offer.

Currently, Greg is a member of a Space Coast chapter of the United States Air Force Academy Association of Graduates. In this association, he and his fellow alumni aim to educate the public and gather support for the Air Force Academy graduates who deserve appreciation for their work.
