Viera Overview

Viera is a top 25 master planned community in an unincorporated section of Melbourne Florida and divided into two areas named Viera East and West Viera. Viera borders 8 miles along I-95 and encompasses 14,500 acres, about half of which has been set aside for conservation, mitigation, recreation and enhancement of regional environmental systems. Just some of the land donated by the Duda family includes 74 acres that is now the Space Coast Stadium, 40 acres for the VA Clinic, 124 acres, for the Pineda Extension and I-95 interchange, and 56 acres for the world class Brevard Zoo, just to name a few. Homeowner associations govern all of the living areas with a master association controlling the development and architecture of the landscape.

Since its inception in 1989, Viera has attracted many businesses including retail and professional services along with numerous health care facilities, churches, doctor’s offices and clinics. The Avenue Viera, an open air, golf cart friendly, shopping center, contains over 100 shops and restaurants and a multiplex movie theater. The Avenue hosts special events throughout the year. The Duran Golf Club, an 18 hole golf course encompasses 130 acres and includes a practice range, a 9 hole par 3 course, and a British West Indies style clubhouse and restaurant. The world class Health First Pro Health & Fitness facility sits close to I-95 and offers a vast array of the latest equipment, fitness and aquatic classes as well as therapy and rehabilitation.

Parks and trails are found throughout the community with the centerpiece, the Viera Regional Park, sitting on 125 acres and offering lighted softball, baseball and soccer fields, basketball and tennis courts, playgrounds and a community center with a gymnasium and showers.

The sunny weather, proximity to the beach, rivers, International airports and natural beauty continue to attract new residents every day.  It is the ideal location.

Viera East vs Viera West
