MEET AGENT Brenda Burton
Real Estate Consultant
Brenda Burton knows and loves Brevard County like a childhood friend. Born in Melbourne and raised in Merritt Island, she spent countless youthful hours on horseback, touring the orange groves and dense oak hammocks across the Island. Her family grew Indian River citrus, or “Florida Sunshine,” and shipped it across the country. As she continued to grow and thrive in Brevard, she developed a sincere appreciation for the area’s waterways and the communities that developed around them.
After graduating from Merritt Island High School, Brenda received an Associate’s Degree and Certificate in Paralegal Studies. She spent ten years as a Florida Supreme Court Certified County Mediator and Program Specialist for the Eighteenth Judicial Circuit. During this time, her knowledge of and passion for local law expanded greatly. Her confidence at the mediating table gives her poise and assurance in business and real estate negotiations.
In 2005, Brenda began her career in real estate and found a very real and genuine enthusiasm for her profession. Her intimate familiarity with Brevard County allows her to find communities that suit her clients’ needs and desires. Her knowledge of and experience in state law helps her to provide an organized, stress-free experience for her clients, whether they’re buying or selling their homes. She dedicates herself to staying at the cutting edge of real estate and to offering a welcoming, enjoyable experience for all of her clients.
Brenda has been selected by a number of Brevard corporations to assist with their relocation efforts. She is always excited to show people from out of town and out of state a little of what Brevard County has to offer. Brenda has been featured on HGTV’s House Hunters and had the opportunity to meet the Property Brothers. Her commitment to quality, integrity, and attention to detail has earned her recognition from her colleagues and her community at large. She keeps the Ellingson Properties motto, “Excellent Service, Excellent Results,” as a personal mantra.
Brenda serves her county as an appointed member of the Affordable Housing Council and a volunteer county mediator for the 18th Judicial Circuit. She is a frequent speaker on real estate topics for the Divorce and Recovery Group. Brenda enjoys spending evenings on her deck, surrounded by her succulent garden with her two dogs. She and her husband Roy reside in West Melbourne.
